The Berkeley Shreds shredding process works in 2 stages. We cross-shred all paper material by positioning 2 shredders at a 90 degree angle to one another. The output from the first shredder is immediately fed into a second shredder, resulting in a much smaller shred size than conventional shredding.
Bring your own items to be shredded into our facility. We shred documents, hard drives, prescription bottles, x-rays, clothing, DVD’s/CDs, large legal and medical files for HIPAA and FACTA compliant destruction. Items can be brought in by hand, bag or box. $5.00 for one full grocery bag and $10.00 for one full bankers box.

Pursuant to Alameda County Public Health regulations, all customers for In-House shredding must wear a protective face covering and maintain a 6ft distance from all others onsite.
