Disintegration is the most effective means of destroying magnetic tape, and products that contain plastics. We disintegrate to a 1/2" X 1/2" particle. This particle size is adequate for sensitive information destruction and is perfect for:

Rates vary, but generally run at double our standard box rate - volume discounts available by quotation.
We offer a destruction service for computer hard drives in which we physically destroy the drive. As with our paper shredding service, you are welcome to witness the destruction process at our Berkeley location. For customers outside our service area we accept drives delivered by certified mail, will perform the destruction operation and return the drive components by certified mail for $20.00
For magnetic media that is difficult to destroy we offer a demagnetizing service to erase the information on the media.
